We were able to travel to Japan for our honeymoon and fell in love with the people, sites and especially the food. While Seattle has a lot of amazing Japanese food, okonomiyaki was something we had to make ourselves if we wanted to enjoy this Osaka specialty. We had enough friends enjoy it that we figured we should share it with more people and started Yakimono. Since our first event in June 2024, we have been met with a huge positive response and are working towards a permanent physical location.
